The International Federation of Landscape Architects launches GLA Awards 2026, recognising the people, policies, and projects contributing to a more just and resilient future. In the face of climate breakdown and biodiversity loss, the awards aim to foster knowledge-sharing over competition. Winning entries will be integrated into the IFLA Hub—a resource for global advocacy and policy development.
Eligibility
Open to individuals, practices, interdisciplinary teams, and students worldwide. Projects must be completed or published between January 2021 and June 2026.
Categories
Submissions are invited across 18 categories, spanning:
– Climate & Environment: Climate Action, Nature Conservation, Water Security, etc. – Community & Justice: Indigenous Knowledge, Ethics & Equity, Age-Friendly Communities, etc. – Planning & Culture: Heritage, Food Systems, International Landscape Convention, etc. – Practice & Future: Urban Health, Technology & Innovation, Young Landscape Architects.
